Contextual Fit
The Smith House was designed in 1965 by Richard Meier which is located in the state of Connecticut. The objective for this house was to create a new addition to renovate the house by using the same concept and structure. However, the concept is not to destroy the design of Meier, the assignment is to work around the house and add new additional rooms that fits the context of the house.



Narrative
The client is a retired Greek soccer player. Client loves to be reminded of his home country. He loves the different types of clustered buildings and rotated houses in the island of Santorini. He spends his time in Oia every time he on break from soccer. His lifestyle and career is soccer and sport marketing. He loves watching games and relaxing at the same time. While getting in touch with some sponsorship and markets. He enjoys exercising and prefer to work out in peace with some outside views. Since he loves soccer and fitness; the gym and the master suite and outdoor spaces are great for his deeds and relaxation. Client also enjoys public views and spending time with family when he finishes his workouts.
